jdk8u252-b02 missing jdk8u242-b08 fixes..?

Hi,
I've probably missed something here, but it seems the recently tagged 
jdk8u252-b01/b02 ea builds are not based off of or include the 
jdk8u242-b08(ga). Is it intentional that 252 is not including 242 ga 
fixes?
jdk8u252 branch is merged into jdk8u "tip", but the jdk8u252 "tags" are on 
the source branch?
