[8u] RFR 8236179: C1 register allocation error with T_ADDRESS

This patch touches many platforms in a trivial manner. But it also means 8u does not have half of
the hunks: aarch64 (I will backport separately), arm32/s390/ppc (I will notify maintainers
separately, if they don't read this list)
