CFV: New JDK 8 Updates Committer: Laurent Bourgès

I hereby nominate Laurent Bourgès (lbourges) to be a JDK 8 Updates Project Committer.



Laurent is Member of the 2D group, an OpenJFX project Reviewer, has been a JDK project Committer since Java 9, and is a Committer on the Graphics-Rasterizer, Metropolis, and JDK Updates projects [0]. He is the author of the Marlin renderer [1], and has contributed over 45 patches to various OpenJDK projects [2, 3]. He is in the process of backporting Marlin to 8u.



Votes are due by 20h00 UTC (noon U.S. Pacific time) on March 3rd, 2020.



Only current OpenJDK 8 Updates Committers [4] are eligible to vote on this nomination. Votes must be cast in the open by replying to this mailing list.
