TLS 1.3 for OpenJDK 8?

Hi Ralph,

Just for completeness, Azul‘s Zulu OpenJDK8 Distribution comes with a backported „OpenJSSE“ Provider which can be used with TLS 1.3.

I would think they will help with the backport.

Dear,

Iris Clark has annonced a backport TLS 1.3 for JDK 8 [1]. She also pointed out that Oracle doesn't plan to contribute a backport TLS 1.3 to OpenJDK 8. Are there any plans of the community to support TLS 1.3 in OpenJDK 8?
