    I hereby nominate Elliott Baron (ebaron) [0] to OpenJDK 8 Updates Committer.
    
    Elliott is doing active backporting work for 8u [1], particularly in the
    area of tackling some huge Apache Santurino backports. Making him a
    committer would aid this backporting work by avoiding the need for
    someone else to push his fixes.
    
    Votes are due by 21h00 UTC on the 20th of March, 2020.
    
    Only current OpenJDK 8 Updates Committers (and above) [2] are eligible
    to vote on this nomination.
    
    Votes must be cast in the open by replying to this mailing list.
