RFR: 8263099: TimSortStackSize2.java throws OOM when using -XX:-UseCompressedOops

Hi Paul,
Looks good to me, and the test passes without an oom too. Thanks to you as
well for putting the change sets together.
Based on the steps listed here, I think that we've completed 1-5, and that
the next step is 6.

Will update the three bugs whose changesets we're using (as per step 6), as
well as the 8263099 bug with links to the other 3.
