Subject: Please approve: JDK-8234484 back-port to jdk8u
Hi jdk8 approvers,

Can someone please approve the back-port of JDK-8234484 ? a CSR has been obtained for the back-port.

The fix has been in jdk15+ for some time now and has been reasonably  soaked for 2 years.

Given the Freeze date for 8u362-b09 is Dec 23rd, it would be preferable to get this in earlier than
later, ie. well before the holidays and shutdown.
