This theory gets closer.
I rebuilt unstable(+tests),11,7 another time. 11 and unstable passed
while 7 required a third run.
Then I built 11,10,9,8,7 for amd64 all at once, but none of them
running the testsuite. They all passed, easily.
So either something broke i386 or the testsuite breaks other
parallel builds. Given i386 also builds fine, on the first try,
in the Debian buildd infrastructure, I lean towards the latter.
