@alvdavi @gnu-andrew We should probably try to get this into `jdk8u` as a critical fix for October. If so, re-create the PR in https://github.com/openjdk/jdk8u. Thoughts? Please also be sure to have this in JDK 11 and JDK 17. Thanks!
