jigsaw packaging for debian

Hello,

My name is Eugen and I'm planning to apply for Google Summer of Code
to package jigsaw for Debian and hopefully modify the packaging tools
to ensure easy preparation of debs from java (source) applications
[0]. I like Debian and also Java so this will help me get closer to
both of them, but I need some help.

I need to get up to date and get a good understanding of how things
are and where are they heading so please direct me to a good
documentation path. I have downloaded and built jigsaw on Debian but I
am having trouble packaging them. I saw in the video presentation from
Devoxx.com that packages for jigsaw are available but the url did not
work. I would be grateful If you could direct me to those packages and
maybe to the people who built them.
