I don't have Fedora 17 handy, is this gcc 4.7? I recall seeing changes 
go by to allow hotspot compile with the latest gcc but I don't think 
those changes have made it to jigsaw/jigsaw yet. On that, we haven't 
sync'ed up jigsaw/jigsaw since b48 so we are a bit behind. The current 
priority is to get the classpath mode support in soon afterwards we'll 
do a bit sync up as there are lot of hotspot changes to merge with.
