From pbenedict at apache.org Mon Jun 2 20:37:18 2014 From: pbenedict at apache.org (Paul Benedict) Date: Mon, 2 Jun 2014 15:37:18 -0500 Subject: Future of Jigsaw/Jake Message-ID: I can see from the public OpenJDK tickets that Jigsaw/Jake development has apparently gone closed-source/in-house [1] and a separate internal issue tracker exists for it too. I don't understand the reason for that, but I've been interested in observing this project's development since the beginning. I am hoping it becomes open source again so the community can provide feedback. Can anyone provide input about this project's future? There are a number of JEPs in the works, particularly around the modular JDK. I expect there will be discussion here very soon. -Alan.
