OS X application won't launch with jigsaw

Sorry, to reply to my own. But I notice the install layout is somewhat different. There is now a MacOS directory along with the Home directory with what looks like a symbolic link to libjli.dylib. (I tried copying that into my app framework, still no go).
Would the javafx list be a more appropriate place to ask about this? 
Is javapackager supposed to currently be working or would that be pending jigsaw becoming more stable?
