No problem and thanks in return to all in the Jigsaw team who helped me
arrive at this resolution of the issue.

In the absence of follow-up by other agent implementors it's hard to be
sure this POC will work for their needs. However, it does seem to me to
be a generally applicable solution. Assuming no other agent implementor
does follow up to the contrary then I hope my solution serves to allow
the issue to be agreed as resolved.
