The transition has been done and the JMC GitHub repository [0] is now
open for business. The jmc-graphics repository has also been
transitioned [1]. The corresponding Mercurial repositories have been
marked as read-only [2].
There is no need to use any particular client-side tooling to
contribute, but for those of you that are interested we have developed a
number of utilities meant to aid OpenJDK contributors in project Skara [3].
If you have not yet associated your GitHub account with your OpenJDK
username, then now is really the time (otherwise the OpenJDK bots won't
recognize you when you contribute). For information on how to associate
your GitHub account with your OpenJDK username, please see the Skara
wiki page [4].
If you run into any issues, have questions and/or feedback, then please
let the Skara team know by sending an email to the skara-dev mailing
list [5]. We are constantly tweaking and improving the workflow based on
your feedback.
Thanks,
Erik
