Hi again!
This contains my alternative proposal:
https://github.com/biboudis/jmh-profilers
It includes the patch that enables SPI
<https://github.com/biboudis/jmh-profilers/blob/master/cr/Lightweight_external_profiler_discovery_through_SPI_.patch>
and
the profiler that was migrated there. Maybe this would open JMH up to
community-maintained *external* profilers for Linux/Win/Mac.
