Strange. That doesn't match what I see. I never even define JT_HOME or JT_JAVA. These environment variables are mostly a legacy mechanism for specifying

For langtools the targets are in langtools/test/Makefile. Currently this is *ONLY* langtools_jtreg.
For jdk the targets are defined in jdk/test/TEST.groups

Close. The actual values are in the TEST.groups file. jdk_% core_% and svc_% are prefixes to group names in the TEST.groups file.
