Password in mailing list memberships reminder

It's just the way that Mailman (the mailing list software) works.

The Mailman manual says (from http://www.list.org/mailman-member/node15.html):

"Do NOT use a valuable password for Mailman, since it can be sent in
plain text to you."

You can turn off the monthly reminder emails:

1. go to http://mail.openjdk.java.net/mailman/listinfo/lambda-dev
2. fill in your email and click the "... Edit options" button
3. enter your password
4. find "Get password reminder email for this list?" and select "No"
