Great!  Where can we find the archives of the expert group discussion?  Can
we subscribe directly?

Is the idea to avoid having the community engage in a discussion of the
issues?  Given that the expert group mailing list AND this public discussion
list are now off bounds, is there some *other other* mailing list where such
discussion would be appropriate?  Or are we back to blog posts and
conference whiteboards?
