I think you have misunderstood my use of the scare-quotes. When you
wrap a word like "logical" with quotes, it doesn't mean the same thing
as without. (Though explaining this is made harder by the fact that its
confusing to use quotes and talk about quotes in the same sentence.)
The key part of the explanation was: "broadly hated."
