JDK8 repo sync in progress

Hello All; 

Keith McGuigan and I are in the process of pushing a resync of the lambda repo to the latest JDK8 mainline (http://hg.openjdk.java.net/jdk8/jdk8). We have done some local testing but there might be temporary instability in the default branch for a little while. When we have a successful merge and stable repo we will be preparing a new binary drop, the final binary drop of the iteration 1 API. Expect the binary drop and a merge of the Iteration 2 API (it2-bootstrap branch) into the default branch later this week.
