Java 8 is released !

Exactly!  It is great to see the finished product, and the way you all
managed this mailing list throughout development was fantastic.  Thank
you all very much for responding to our feedback.  I mean, I ask a
question and then people like Brian Goetz and Paul Sandoz respond with
these epic *lessons* in the form of emails?  How did I get so lucky?

Well done, and thanks again.  At work, the Java 8 migration plan is "Now."
