Syncing changes from jdk/client --> lanai/lanai

We briefly discussed offline the need for reguar syncs (pull/merge) from 
jdk/client --> lanai/lanai. One of Ajit or Jay will do this on a regular 
basis (probably weekly or biweekly). We can rotate the assignment after 
a while.

As part of the sync, whoever does the merge should do a clean build (to 
make sure there are no merge issues), and also make sure that J2DPerf, 
SwingSet, etc., still run.

It would be a good idea to send a heads-up to lanai-dev when you plan to 
do it so there aren't any surprises.
