Thanks, I managed to build it in the subsystem and run some gradle tasks as
well (although it required a lot individual of apt-get installs).
Unfortunately, the Windows IntelliJ IDEA does not accept the built jdk
directory as a valid JVM. Having GUI in WLS is a bit complicated but I'll
see if I can get something working.
