I have some generic questions about virtual threads after reading the JEP 444, JEP 491 . I did not find those answers by googling or in some Devoxx/JVMLS talks that I have watched. That’s why I am reaching out here. Please redirect me if it’s not the appropriate place.

Could someone share what would be the reason behind pinning in case of the JNI method invocation? I could see the JEP mentions `presence of native frame on stack` . Therefore, I am guessing it’s something around that but if someone could give a bit more detail about it that would be helpful.

--

Thanks and Regards,
Nadeesh TV
