The Forest Extension seems to have an extreme number of dependencies on the internal APIs
and has been a support issue as newer Mercurial releases have come out. It's also slow.

The subrepos is a little different and too strict in terms of what we would like. It's not clear if we
can or will use subrepos, it's an on going and sometimes heated debate.
The bottom line is that we do rely on a nested repository structure, that will not change.

The Forest Extension seemed perfect at first, but it's implementation was/is lacking and
it is a buyer beware situation, it just might not work in all cases. It will be abandoned soon.
