JSR 292 support in the main repositories (and that includes macosx-port) is there for quite some time now and it works pretty good with e.g. JRuby (just use -Xcompile.invokedynamic=true). I doubt you will need the bleeding edge stuff from mlvm. If something fails, please let us know.
