Mac OpenJDK developers,
The latest Java SE 6 software updates from Apple for both Mac OS X 10.7 and 10.6 are now live and available to all customers via Software Update. If you installed any of the developer previews, running Software Update will automatically bring your system JDK up to date with the GM 1.6.0_29 version, leaving previous developer preview JDKs in-place in /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines.
As of this update, all of the new API additions to the JavaRuntimeSupport.framework that have previously only been available via the developer previews are now available via this public Java software update. We are still planning a subsequent OS software update that will also contain these API additions, so end users will not have to install Apple's Java to obtain the API required for OpenJDK.

Our best regards,
