on macosx-port-dev and jdk7u-dev mailing lists, starting when the jdk7u-osx forest
was discussed initially on the jdk7u-dev mailing list. 

It's still a hot topic, as you can see from this thread - as a rough pointer you can also 
look at the JDK 7 Updates roadmap published at this year's JavaOne, which has several things 
to say about plans for Mac OS X support in JDK 7 updates:
