Again up to you what you do with the bug. If you are indicating it is simply pointless then I won't do it?
getAvailableFontFamilyNames is since 1.2. Believe it or not some of the code in this application is probably 1.1 Classic Mac OS in origin.
You probably won't run into too much code that pre-dates 1.2 though so I doubt this will be a big problem for you at this point.
