Hello Leonid
> Hi,
> Please review a better fix for http://java.net/jira/browse/MACOSX_PORT-568
>
> The idea behind the fix is that instead of doing character translation in Java (which doesn't work for layouts other than English), we rely on OS X to do it for us. Also note that this fix is a prerequisite for http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=7124286

> webrev: http://cr.openjdk.java.net/~leonidr/MACOSX_PORT-568/webrev.00/
The fix looks fine and I like how laconic it is!
Could you reopen the
http://java.net/jira/browse/MACOSX_PORT-568
add a comment about non English locales
and mark it as resolved again when you commit the fix?
Thanks
