[Semi-OT] Oracle 10g OS X

Oracle Database 10g Release 2 (10.2.0.4.0) was at one time available for OS
X <http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/topics/macos/whatsnew/index.html>, but
it's since been removed from
OTN<http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/10204macsoft-x86-64-092720.html>.
Is there any (cost effective ;)) way of obtaining a copy of that software?
I have a dev database I need to work with, deployment platform is
Java-on-OSX (well, Java anywhere, but we're specifically developing for /
texting on OS X) and while down the road it won't matter where the database
is, for dev and demo purposes it would be *really* handy to have it running
locally, natively. We've tried using Oracle
11g<http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/enterprise-edition/downloads/index.html?ssSourceSiteId=ocomen>on
the Oracle-provided Solaris
11 virtual machine<http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/server-storage/solaris11/downloads/virtual-machines-1355605.html>(
VirtualBox<http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/server-storage/virtualbox/downloads/index.html>),
but that arrangement is barely usable (it overwhelmed my poor Late 2010
MacBook Air 1.86GHz Core 2 Duo (128GB SSD, 4GB RAM)...

We're not too late in the process to punt and go with a Derby, PostgreSQL,
or MySQL solution (all of which are either 100% Java or are natively
available on the Mac), but the initial preference was Oracle, so if we can
accommodate that (there are a couple of other devs, and we're all on
Macintoshes), that'd be "most excellent." :)

Thanks!
