Inability to download JAWS apps after 7u9

I reported this to the forum on some else's thread, but I am sure more people read this.  Can anyone reproduce this?

Run a previously downloaded JWS app after upgrading to 7u9.  Mine still worked.  Later, I updated the jar of one app on the server, and now that one no longer runs, but others still do.  That can also be simulated by just running one you do not have.  Here is sample app from the summer I dug up and brought back to life. I cleared the cache leaving the one that still worked intact.  A download occurs when run from safari, but then the process abruptly ends.  Subsequent runs from cache viewer do not do the download again, but same result.  Oddly, in the cache viewer, it shows the apps with the date column blank, except for the one still working.

Again, can anyone duplicate the result using the sample app? I verified the sample just worked from Windows.  FYI, I have not yet run the thing from Apple that is causing problems with java 6 apps.  I also restarted the machine.
