32-bit JVM

A few months ago, we had a discussion about providing a JDK 7 for the
Mac that can also operate in 32-bit mode. Someone enabled it and it
then got disabled again, because it apparently broke something.
Is there any chance to enable it again? Being able to operate in 32-bit
and also -client mode is quite important in order to be able to test
concurrency code using different JVMs. I still have the JDK that we
built with this enabled and it works fine, but ideally I would like this
to be supported by the latest JDK 1.7.
Regards
Heinz
