The main reason I want the 32-bit options is to support existing native libraries that are 32-bit only and can't be easily adapted to work as 64-bit libraries.

We have both Java Web Start applications and invisible Java applets that support access to probeware interfaces from companies like Pasco, Vernier, etc.

Our target is K-12 Math, Science, and engineering education.

Our code is open-source but the drivers we work with are often not open-source.

Almost none of these features work anymore.
