Retina state of affairs?

Hi,

I just wanted to be a nuisance from time to time and ask if anyone knows if
someone is working on solving or providing a workaround for the retina
display issue or is everyone waiting to see whether Oracle is going to
rethink this?

To be clear, I am not necessarily talking about a clean solution. I realize
this is anything but trivial. A workaround that will help me not to be
forced into porting the UI code of years of development to a new UI
technology in a few months just to have a UI experience that is not doomed
compared to the native competition would be great. A few platform-dependent
conditionals in our application buying us some time would be something that
would be a lot better than rushing into a decision.

Just wanted to know if anyone has heard anything?
