ScreenMenuBar bug fixed in Java 8 but what about 7?

Hello,

there is this known bug that should be fixed in 8 (b77):

Is there any chance to get the fix in 7 too?

Apple is closing support for Java 6 more and more and 8 is far away.
I getting a bit in trouble because I can't really use Java 7 for Mac at the moment.
