Intermittent display problems in JRE 7

I don't know that it's a known problem or not. If you can generate a small sample that reproduces the issue, please file a bug at http://bugs.sun.com, some engineer will at least be able to test the bug against the current state of 7u-dev. There are numerous fixes for Mac OS X that will be released with 7u40, currently due in August.

I also strongly encourage you to try the JDK 8 early access (at http://jdk8.java.net) to see if the problem still exists or if it's just in the current 7u line.
