To me this sounds like Nicholas says that the patch once applied to the current JDK source will fix the issue, but not that the weekly build already contains the patch. In fact http://download.java.net/jdk8/changes/jdk8-b91.html?q=download/jdk8/changes/jdk8-b91.html doesn't list it as issue fixed in b91.
