Yes, this is very sad. The whole premise of "WORA" is being forgotten.
There is no technical reason not to support the prior APIs in minor
release updates and 7u25 works fine ! We might expect this from
Apple builds in order to force OS/equipment upgrades,
but from an "open jdk" community it is just sad, very sad.
