GB Nomination: Andrew Haley

I would like to nominate Andrew Haley for the position of At-Large
Member to the OpenJDK Governing Board.

As a major contributor to the OpenJDK project, Andrew is probably
well-known to most, if not all, project members. He currently leads the
AArch64 project and the JDK7 updates project but his interests and
expertise range widely and if you are a contributor then he may well
have reviewed some of your changes no matter what corner of the JDK
Project you work in.

Andrew is also well-known and respected in the wider Java community, not
just for his expertise but, more importantly, for his willingness to
listen and represent wider interests. He has represented the community
as one of the two At-Large Members of the Governing Board since the
posts were created and has worked very hard to ensure that the project
continues to be run transparently and accountably. His tact and
diplomacy are underpinned by a scrupulousness and fairness that commends
him as a candidate.
