GB Nomination: Philip Race

I would like to nominate Philip Race for At-Large Member of the OpenJDK 
Governing Board.


Philip has been valuable member of the OpenJDK Govering Board for 
several years and I think he brought quite a lot to the success of the 
OpenJDK project. Philip has been involved in OpenJDK development and the 
community since the beginning of the project and is a member of numerous 
groups and projects and is an active reviewer and contributor 
(https://openjdk.org/census#prr).

Philip has delivered a lot of outstanding contributions to the OpenJDK 
especially to the desktop area of the project. He is deeply involved in 
the Wakefield and OpenJFX projects and has spoken at many conferences 
(JavaOne, CodeOne, FOSDEM to name a few).

Philip is also well-known and respected for his thorough evaluation of 
the proposed solutions and ideas.

I think that he would be an ideal match for an OpenJDK Governing Board seat.
