Subject: CFV: New OpenJDK Members Group Member: Viktor Klang
Hi everybody,

I hereby nominate Viktor Klang [1] to Membership in the OpenJDK Members Group.

Viktor is a Reviewer in the JDK Project, a Committer in the Leyden Project, and a
member of the Core Libraries Group.

Viktor joined the JDK team more than three years ago after an illustrious career in
the Scala world. Since joining the JDK team, he has led the Stream Gatherers JEP
[2], he has made major contributions to the Structured Concurrency JEP [3], and he
has taken over maintenance of the Streams library and the java.util.concurrent
package. He is currently working on Marshalling, which we hope will eventually
replace Java's classic serialization mechanism.

Votes are due by Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 23:59 UTC.

Only current members of the OpenJDK Members Group [4] are eligible to vote on this
nomination. Votes must be cast in the open by replying to this mailing list.
