I hereby nominate Viktor Klang [1] to Membership in the OpenJDK Members Group.<br>

<br>

Viktor is a Reviewer in the JDK Project, a Committer in the Leyden Project, and a<br>

member of the Core Libraries Group.<br>

<br>

Viktor joined the JDK team more than three years ago after an illustrious career in<br>

the Scala world. Since joining the JDK team, he has led the Stream Gatherers JEP<br>

[2], he has made major contributions to the Structured Concurrency JEP [3], and he<br>

has taken over maintenance of the Streams library and the java.util.concurrent<br>

package. He is currently working on Marshalling, which we hope will eventually<br>

replace Java's classic serialization mechanism.<br>
