Hi jochen,
just try to remove -XX:+EnableMethodHandles.

This line works for me:

davinci/sources/jdk/build/linux-i586/bin/java
-XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+EnableInvokeDynamic FidgetDemo
