Status of tailc?

Hi Tom,

My understanding of the current state of the tailc patch is that it needs
someone to care for it - that broadly the position is that it could be
officially adopted if there was sufficient community support, but that
community members would have to demonstrate some skin in the game by keeping
the patch current and canvassing support.

John: Is that a reasonably accurate representation of the state of play with
tailc?

With my LJC hat on, once the current flurry of activity has died down a bit,
encouraging and supporting interested LJC members in this kind of endeavour
is very much something we want to do more of, and we've had the early stages
of discussions about how we might try to do just that.

Thanks,

Ben
