multiple entry points would also, FWIW, enable OSR.

How to invoke a method with a specific entry point? Via Indy, with an extra argument?

The handler table that would go away if exception handling was conveniently pushed to a helper object would make a proud reappearance in the form of a valid entry point table. We don't want arbitrary jumps into the middle of things. :-)
