Hi all!
You know right now I have been feeling a blank page anxiety! Anyway let’s start by introducing Myself.

I am an Italian 48 years old man, I received a degree in economics in the years 2000 by the university of Padua (Italy). Currently I am serving as a tax officer at Agenzia Delle Entrate (American IRS like). My story as a developer started about ten years ago when, at the early beginning of the smart phone era, my brother fostered me to grasp some Android Development, which at that time was completely Java based. I was so hooked by the language that I became eager to deep my knowledge on Java reading books internet and aother resources. As consequence I gradually abandoned Android to focus on Java as a whole. For the time being I am contributing to Openhab community which oversees a Java home automation system project that is based on OSGI.

Meanwhile my interest on mobile development revamped but I realized, with regrets, that Java had been left apart of mobile development as iOS goes with Swift and Android goes with Kotlin! So why do not think at the possibility of using Java for mobile development again even thinking about a multiplatform solution(Android/iOs) in Java? I spotted Gluon solution also but it grim to me. With this intent I spotted the mobile dev! I think that OpenJDK might achieve such a goal and I want to contribute!

So long!

Giovanni
