Hi Roland,

I think caching of scripts within a global scope was implemented from 
the initial JDK8 release. In 8u20 we broadened this to ScriptEngine 
scope, meaning that multiple global scopes running within the same 
engine could share compiled scripts.

The cache size is limited to 50 scripts by default, you can set that 
using the -ccs or --class-cache-size option and disable it all together 
by setting that option to 0.
