I'd prefer if you imported the change-set from jdk8 as it would be less 
error-prone. Also it would ensure that the spacing and formatting is the 
same - for example in your webrev then the changes to 
SolarisEventPort.java are aligned differently to how they are in jdk8, 
which will just make it a bit harder to pull in patches.
